The Deathlord - Champion of the Hunt

The story (Downfall) is set in a fictionalized World War II era (and Earth for that matter, though much remains similar), in which the Allies encounter unimaginable terrors, while dealing with mounting losses, economic crises, and civil unrest.

In short, the Axis powers never successfully materialized. A previously unheard-of militant cult instead rises to power, capitalizing on the weakened state of the Central Powers following World War I. After carrying out a series of successful coups, they establish an authoritarian regime, terrorizing the populace (through indiscriminate genocide) while amassing for aggressive action. Despite diplomatic intervention, they are undeterred.

Mysteriously, the same cult is also involved in turmoil in the Asian theatre.

Eventually, everything is pushed over the brink of war. While the Allies are initially successful, they begin to face horrifying war machines, ravenous creatures, and supernatural forces on the battlefield. The essential question is whether or not their adversaries are even human - and whether or not defeat is inevitable.
