Corsair Story - Pirates Attack!

It could hear the guard approaching, firing his shotgun, racking the pump in between each blast. 

Catching him by surprise, Talos darted around the corner of the shipping container and grabbed the barrel of the weapon. In a panic, the guard pulled the trigger, only to have the blast directed through his foot. Howling in pain, his adversary grabbed him and began slamming his face into the container repeatedly.

Commander Isura came in over the radio:
"Talos, you're doing great, but if you could dispatch these guys a little faster, we'd appreciate it."

Indeed... Katya had fastroped onto the ship at about the same time and she was likely already halfway to the bridge. Toni and Salazar were providing cover fire from the stern.

But of course - they needed to thin the ship's security before the rest of the boarding teams could safely land. Time was indeed of the essence - if the ship was able to spool up and perform a jump, things would end badly.

Grudgingly, it kicked the near-dead guard aside, then stomped down on his head. Now, onto the next target.
